PayVia is not a middleman for your money
Your customer pays you directly through DuitNow, into your own bank account. PayVia is the tool that creates the request, tracks its status, and issues the receipt once you confirm the payment arrived. We never receive, hold, or move your funds.
Good to know
Does PayVia take a cut of my payment?
No. Your customer transfers the money straight to your bank account through DuitNow. PayVia does not sit in the payment flow, so there is nothing for us to deduct.
How does my customer actually pay?
They open your payment link, see the exact amount, and scan your DuitNow QR (or copy your bank details) in their own banking or e-wallet app. Then they enter the transfer reference so you can match it.
How is a "confirmed" payment decided?
You check your bank account and mark the request as received. PayVia then issues the receipt. This keeps you in control and means we never need access to your bank.
What is the verify link on the receipt?
Every issued receipt has a code. Anyone can enter it at payvia.my/verify to confirm a genuine receipt with that code exists and see its details — useful when a customer needs proof for reimbursement or tax.
Do I need a company or SSM registration?
No. PayVia works for individuals and registered businesses alike. You just need a Malaysian bank account with a DuitNow QR.
Is my data safe?
The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and uploaded images are kept private to your account. We only store what is needed to show your requests and receipts.
